Eco-Therapy - taking the therapy outdoors:

The combination of a therapeutic encounter and natural surroundings is believed to be particularly powerful, and the inclusion of the manifestations of nature - such as sound, odour, elementals, flora and fauna - are known to be efficacious in therapeutic work. Tree hugging is entirely optional, but actively encouraged!

Having an extensive background in horticulture, Rachel has over the years been able to observe many interesting parallels between the natural cycles and rhythms and the human psychic life. She can facilitate your connecting with the plant world and being in tune with the seasons. This is an excellent way of getting in touch with the intrinsic wisdom and healing benevolence of Nature.

Instead of meeting in an office, the eco-therapy session takes place out of doors in a suitable environment.

You may arrange this kind of meeting once you had your initial session with Rachel.

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stop and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

Not time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare.
